THE EQUIPMENT
I have been a completely digital studio for over 6 years now, and the creativity it allows me has definitely made the learning curve worth while. I am amazed that all photographers aren’t spending the time to harness the amazing potential digital photography has to offer. There are so many things I can do with a digital file that were just not feasible when I was shooting with film. When processed professionally, the prints coming from a professional digital camera are as good or better (and much more creative) than prints from a negative.

I shoot with Canon products and am currently shooting with a Canon 20D body and a variety of lenses. The 8.2 megapixel images it provides are more than enough to tackle any project you have in mind. I carry four Compact Flash cards with me on all shoots, and if those don’t have enough space for the project, I also carry an Epson P2000 with me so that I can download the cards. For image protection, I store all photo’s on two separate hard drives on site and one hard drive off site to ensure data is never lost. I take great pride in my equipment and procedures and I am confident you will appreciate the results.
